Immigration Problem: My Plan

Ok this is a very simple solution to a complicated problem. Most likely my fellow conservatives would disagree with me on this one. But here's what we do:

Everyone in the U.S. as of today is allowed to stay and is granted citizenship. What's 5 million more people? Not that big of a deal. So, we are all given passports. We put up a fence around the borders with machine gun nests and maybe even a moat. No one gets in or out without a passport. And we document everyone that is here from Mexico and Canada. If we find you in the U.S. and you are undocumented then you have to go home immediately. Everyone here now is happy and we head off the rest at the pass.

Either that or we make Mexico the 51st state and we tax them to no end. j/k but at least we'd rake in the pesos that way.

Either way we have to do something. I'm not singing the national anthem with a Mariachi band and accordions.

I'm out.

Medal Of Honor Wednesday

*McDONALD, PHILL G.

Rank and organization: Private First Class, U.S. Army, Company A, 1st Battalion, 14th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division. place and date: Near Kontum City, Republic of Vietnam, 7 June 1968. Entered service at: Beckley, W . Va. Born: 13 September 1941. Avondale, W. Va. Citation: For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty. Pfc. McDonald distinguished himself while serving as a team leader with the 1st platoon of Company A. While on a combat mission his platoon came under heavy barrage of automatic weapons fire from a well concealed company-size enemy force. Volunteering to escort 2 wounded comrades to an evacuation point, Pfc. McDonald crawled through intense fire to destroy with a grenade an enemy automatic weapon threatening the safety of the evacuation. Returning to his platoon, he again volunteered to provide covering fire for the maneuver of the platoon from its exposed position. Realizing the threat he posed, enemy gunners concentrated their fire on Pfc. McDonald's position, seriously wounding him. Despite his painful wounds, Pfc. McDonald recovered the weapon of a wounded machine gunner to provide accurate covering fire for the gunner's evacuation. When other soldiers were pinned down by a heavy volume of fire from a hostile machine gun to his front, Pfc. McDonald crawled toward the enemy position to destroy it with grenades. He was mortally wounded in this intrepid action. Pfc. McDonald's gallantry at the risk of his life which resulted in the saving of the lives of his comrades, is in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflects great credit upon himself, his unit, and the U.S. Army.

TBN: The Blasphemy Network

There is a station that beats all in blasphemy and false teaching. And of course that station goes by the name of TBN or Trinity Broadcasting Network.. I call it The Blasphemy Network.

First of all any station that begs for money pretty much 24/7 is nothing more than a scam. Little old ladies send in there "seed" money because some dude with a huge pompadour says they'll get it back ten fold from God. The "seed" movement, or prosperity gospel is direct from Satan himself. There is no Biblical teaching that says God will give you riches if you invest a little in shady ministries. Christianity is not a pyramid scheme I assure you.

Apoligeticsindex.com has a great article highlighting the heresy on this channel. TBN has Benny Hinn. If that's not enough to write off the entire station as blasphemous, I don't know what is. Benny Hinn is a false prophet. I'd encourage Mr. Hinn to read in the New Testament the judgment that is reserved for people such as himself. Not a good thing. Many are being deceived by his lies.

I write off the entire station even though they often have shows on by people I semi-respect. Those people should be ashamed of themselves for even being associated with such a station.

Shut down TBN for good!

This May Sound Stupid...

Because of a lack of postable brilliance I have decided to just syndicate some stuff from My Xanga. Basically it's just one liner observations. Enjoy, this is gonna be really stupid, it always is..

* I like the Icelandic singer Bjork. Don't get me wrong, her music sucks, but I like her name because it is both her name and also a way to describe the act of vomiting. For instance... "Dude you guys might want to clear out of the room, I think I'm fixin to bjork."

* The worst part about having surgery is having to wear that cone on my head afterwards so I won't lick at my stitches.

* Remember when we used to believe that if you swallowed a piece of gum it took 15 years to digest? I'd just now be passing that piece of Bazooka that I chewed that one day back in middle school.

* If I were Asian I would embrace my stereotypes and do math problems all day long and play ping pong all night. Also if I had time I would go to an amusment park, but since I would be Asian I would be too short to ride any of the rides. Sucks.

* Do you go to walmart because of the savings...or because of the fact that your allowed to wear a tube top and no shoes? I think it's a little of both for me.

* I am as manly as they come....but there are some nights that I want to put on a mud mask and a shower cap, get in a bubble bath, read The Notebook and have myself a good cry.

* Why don't people name their sons Huey or Seymore anymore?

* Hitler was a jerk!

* Canada is like America's younger brother. I think we should go and give them a swirlee.

* I am not ok with slavery. Just for the record.

* Why can't penguins fly? I think they aren't really even trying.

* When Michael Bolton sings 'When A Man Loves A Woman' babies laugh, children dance, and grown men have been known to openly weep. Count me amongst the latter.

* I think the question we have all been asking is how come Cheez-It's© haven't made a cereal yet. I would be the first in line to buy new Cheez-It Flakes.© Stays Cheezy in milk!™

* I decided that I'm not going to pay my taxes anymore. But don't worry because I'm going to send the IRS a fruit basket and a $5 McDonalds Arch Card.

* Every year Dick Clark has the the most trendy pop bands on his 'Rockin New Years Eve'. I think it'd be hilarious if they had a metal band on there. Just once I would love to hear Dick Clark say..."That was Hillary Duff with her latest hit and now ladies and gentlemen here's Cannibal Corpse."

* I completely regret joining the Russian mafia.

* Everyone has finals this week. So in honor of those in finals I am going to watch a lot of Jeopardy and do a ton of crossword puzzles. I'm really nervous.

* If ever I won 240 million dollars playing the lottery the first thing I'd buy is a diamond encrusted pizza cutter. I've always fancied me a pizza cutter with a little pizazz.

* I wish we would invade Greenland. That would give the Marines Special Op's Ice Skating Unit a chance to finally show what they're made of.

* Most TV news anchors take stage names. I decided that if I ever became a news anchor my name would be Chuck McGinnley. "Reporting live from this grizzley murder scene, Chuck McGinnley, ABC news, back to you Tina."

* If you think about it, a fruit roll-up is actually just an edible kleenex.

* My two favorite stereotypes... 1. Asians are really good at math. 2. Midgets are really good at finding stuff under the couch.

* How come when a little baby pulls his diaper off and runs around naked it's cute, but when grandpa does it everyone wants to put him in a home????

* People yell at me because I pour too much milk into the macaroni and cheese. And you know what I say to them...Shut up and drink your cheese milk!

Ahh so stupid. I've never felt more alive!

Medal Of Honor Thursday

Ok, so maybe it'll shift to different days during the week. I've never been accused of being organized.

THOMAS, WILLIAM H.

Rank and organization: Private First Class, U.S. Army, 149th Infantry, 38th Infantry Division. Place and date: Zambales Mountains Luzon, Philippine Islands, 22 April 1945. Entered service at: Ypsilanti, Mich. Birth. Wynne, Ark. G.O. No.: 81, 24 September 1945. Citation: He was a member of the leading squad of Company B, which was attacking along a narrow, wooded ridge. The enemy strongly entrenched in camouflaged emplacements on the hill beyond directed heavy fire and hurled explosive charges on the attacking riflemen. Pfc. Thomas, an automatic rifleman, was struck by 1 of these charges, which blew off both his legs below the knees. He refused medical aid and evacuation, and continued to fire at the enemy until his weapon was put out of action by an enemy bullet. Still refusing aid, he threw his last 2 grenades. He destroyed 3 of the enemy after suffering the wounds from which he died later that day. The effective fire of Pfc. Thomas prevented the repulse of his platoon and assured the capture of the hostile position. His magnificent courage and heroic devotion to duty provided a lasting inspiration for his comrades.

The Worst Music Video Of All Time....Hands Down!

Some group from Finland are unintentionally horrible...

I love you, I wanna love you tender.
You could be my only sweet surrender.
I would never bring you any kind of sorrow.

You love me, you wanna love me tender.
How can I be sure you're not pretender?
You want me today,
But what about tomorrow?

Oh, you're absolutely fine,
Your lips are taste of wine.
I'd like to think you're mine.
And if I could touch your hand,
This rock would turn to sand,
So this is where we stand.

I dare you to try to go all day without singing it in your head!

I Love Google Earth

Lately I am obsessed with Google Earth. If you haven't played around with it yet, do yourself a favor and download that thing. It is incredible. You can swoop down from outer space and look at really detailed satellite photography from all over the world. For instance here is the Lincoln Memorial from Google Earth...

Not bad.

Anyway if you need to pass the time, or even find directions to stuff...Google Earth is the bomb. (Do people still call things "the bomb"?)

I've Been Slacking

When I started this blog I was faithful to post daily. Lately I post every other day if that. Here's what happened... I got busy, things changed in my life, and politics sort of got put on the back burner.

But here's the deal. I am not quitting. It may not be a daily post for a while but this blog will always be here and I will always do what I can to post regularly. It may not be quality posts but since when have I ever attempted quality posts. ha!

You can bet on one thing... As we get closer to this year's elections and the 2008 elections I will become more vocal again. I still support Bush and I still support the troops and the mission. He told us it would be a long hard war and I believed him.

Anyway, please keep reading and checking back regularly. I may even have another interview coming and I might bring back the Know Your Blogger bit.

Thanks,

Aaron

Medal Of Honor Wednesday

I'm bringing back my weekly tribute to those who gave so much for our freedom. I have been bad about remembering to continue this weekly. I will retry. This time it'll be every Wednesday.

This one is incredible. First Lieutenant Baldomero Lopez recieved the MOH. Read it, it will make your manhood shrivel...
From usmc.mil

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty as a Rifle Platoon Commander of Company A, First Battalion, Fifth Marines, First Marine Division (Reinforced), in action against enemy aggressor forces during the Inchon invasion in Korea on 15 September 1950.
With his platoon, First Lieutenant Lopez was engaged in the reduction of immediate enemy beach defenses after landing with the assault waves. Exposing himself to hostile fire, he moved forward alongside a bunker and prepared to throw a hand grenade into the next pillbox whose fire was pinning down that sector of the beach. Taken under fire by an enemy automatic weapon and hit in the right shoulder and chest as he lifted his arm to throw, he fell backward and dropped the deadly missile. After a moment, he turned and dragged his body forward in an effort to retrieve the grenade and throw it. In critical condition from pain and loss of blood, and unable to grasp the hand grenade firmly enough to hurl it, he chose to sacrifice himself rather than endanger the lives of his men and, with a sweeping motion of his wounded right arm, cradled the grenade under him and absorbed the full impact of the explosion. His exceptional courage, fortitude and devotion to duty reflect the highest credit upon First Lieutenant Lopez and the United States Naval Service. He gallantly gave his life for his country.

9 Songs You Should Download...

I have the greatest taste in music of anyone I know. Therefore it would be a shame for me not to offer the free service of suggesting good songs for downloading. So you downloaders get ready to be shocked and then awed. I give you my download list...

1. He Is Legend -- I Am Hollywood: This song will put hair on your chest. If you don't get chills by the time he starts screaming "I am Hollywood" then you might be legally dead.

2. David Crowder Band -- O Praise Him: Great worship song from a band whose lead singer thankfully sounds much better than he looks. Every time you see him it looks like he stuck a fork in an electrical outlet very recently.

3. Demon Hunter -- Not I: Another screamer(sorry I'm on another metal kick the past few weeks). This song goes best when combined with the song before it called "The Flame That Guides Us Home." After you hear this song you might just quit your job and become a roadie for Petra. I have no idea what that means.

4. Selah -- Part The Waters/I Need Thee Every Hour: This song is beautiful...it will take the hair off of your chest that was previouly put there by I Am Hollywood.

5. James Horner -- Field Of Dreams Soundtrack/The Drive Home: This song makes me melt. It's just basically a simple one line piano tune with a soft synth background. You'd think that'd be boring...you're right...but it is also incredibly relaxing. You will melt too. James Horner is a genius...seriously.

6. David Bowie -- Space Oddity: I know, 99% of you already know this song and either hate it or love it. But I am just discovering how good David Bowie actually was at songwriting...so download it again for the first time.

7. Tom Chapin -- Saturday Morning: I have always been sappy for a good old fashioned acoustic guitar folk song. It's so subtle and the acoustic guitar to me is the purest instrument out there. Make sure you get the live version of this song from the Harry Chapin album called Greatest Stories.

8. The Postal Service -- The District Sleeps Alone Tonight...: It's about time that somebody did something different with this whole emo/hipster thing The Postal Service simply added a beat to it all and created a brilliant album.

9. Sleeping At Last -- Slowly, Now: These guys almost made it but they didn't rake in the tons of money that Interscope wanted and they got the boot. This album is on par with anything Radiohead and Coldplay are doing, yet they just managed to slip under the radar.

I have spoken!

ACLU Endorses Bill To Supress Free Speech Of Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers

crossposted from Stop The ACLU

Via BP News

A new congressional effort to police advertising by crisis pregnancy centers is unnecessary, pro-life advocates said, and unconstitutional, free-speech defenders charged.

The American Civil Liberties Union, which has long promoted itself as the leading defender of freedom of speech and civil rights, is right in the middle of the controversy, promoting the new legislation to the surprise of some.

However, this is not suprising to us at all. The ACLU have a long history of being selective in defending free speech, especially when it comes to pro-lifers. Besides, defending the first amendment is only third on the ACLU's list of priorities, abortion is their number one priority.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney, a New York Democrat, introduced March 30 the Stop Deceptive Advertising for Women’s Services Act (SDAWS), which calls on the Federal Trade Commission to bar organizations from advertising that they provide abortion services when they do not. Just 12 House of Representatives members have cosponsored Maloney’s bill, but leading abortion rights organizations, including NARAL Pro-choice America and the National Abortion Federation, are behind it.

The ACLU also endorsed it, and that stunned some who have defended the organization’s work in the past.

“[W]hat about the First Amendment?” asked Nat Hentoff, a syndicated columnist and a former ACLU board member, according to The New York Sun. “When you have the state, with its power, deciding what is deceptive on something as thoroughly controversial as this, it goes against the very core, it seems to me, of the First Amendment.”

Hentoff called the ACLU endorsement “a really extraordinary mistake.” The ACLU advocacy for abortion rights has eclipsed its support for free speech, he told The Sun. “It’s the problem the ACLU has had for years,” Hentoff said.

And its not likely to change anytime soon. After all, some of the ACLU's most lucrative donations are from pro-abortion groups. Its a much more profitable business than milking taxpayers over prayer and such. It is a $90 billion dollar industry. No wonder the ACLU thinks teaching abstinence is harmful. Its harmful to their pocketbook.

The proposal is unneeded, representatives of crisis pregnancy centers said.

“This legislation is unnecessary, as it aims to cure an ill that doesn’t exist,” Care Net President Kurt Entsminger said in a written release. Care Net is a nationwide network of about 900 evangelical Christian, pregnancy help centers. “This is nothing more than a routine attack on pregnancy centers by organizations seeking to limit their competition. We find it particularly curious that in her announcement Rep. Maloney did not cite one example of a pregnancy center that is engaging in deceptive advertising.”

Tom Glessner, president of the National Institute of Family Life Advocates (NIFLA), said in a written statement that crisis pregnancy centers “are providing accurate, truthful and complete information to empower women to choose life. The only fraudulent activity in this area comes from those in the abortion industry who want to withhold truthful information from abortion-vulnerable women.”

Amen to that! I've always thought abortion advocates were the ones that were deceptively named. Planned Parenthood? How deceptive is that? It has absolutely nothing to do with parenthood, or planning. Here is the straight talk on the deceptive business of abortion.

So-called "counseling" in Planned Parenthood clinics is really marketing, providing few facts and is heavily biased in favor of abortion.25

• Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) was started by a racist, Margaret Sanger, who drew upon writings from socialists and eugenicists. She even published articles from Adolf Hitler's director of eugenic sterilization, Ernst Rudin, and spawned "The Negro Project," her strategy for eliminating the black population. In the last week of July 2002, a lawyer in Missouri filed a federal lawsuit against PFFA for their failure to fully inform women about abortion. The lawyer also agreed that PP is a racist organization that targets minority women.

• "If a girl decides to carry her baby to term, ... clinics don't make any money. They make money only if she has an abortion. So, inevitably, clinics put pressure on women to abort." -- Carol Everett, who once owned and operated four lucrative abortion clinics.

• "Nita Whitten, who once worked in an abortion clinic, says she was trained by a professional marketing firm in how to sell abortion over the phone. The main tactic abortion clinics use is fear. The phone operator asks the girl how late her period is and then tells her, 'You're pregnant.' Not 'You might be pregnant,' but 'You are pregnant.' When a girl calls, Nita says, the object is not to help her; it's to 'hook the sale.'"

• After the abortion, the girl is given free birth-control pills since, on the pill, she's more likely to be sexually active. But since young people often do not remember to take pills consistently, there's a good chance the girl will return to the clinic pregnant again. As Carol Everett puts it, "birth control sells abortions. Abortion is a business. A big business that uses slick marketing tools." read more

In announcing the introduction of her bill, Maloney said in a written release that some crisis pregnancy centers “should be called ‘Counterfeit Pregnancy Centers.’ They have the right to exist, but they shouldn’t have the right to deceive in order to advance their particular beliefs.”

Maloney’s bill is H.R. 5052. There is not a companion bill in the Senate.

Counterfeit Pregnancy Centers? This bill is garbage! Can you imagine the reaction if we were to create legislation forcing abortion providers to label their places "Baby Killing shops?" I'm sure we all could come up with some creative ones.

Support Our Troops NOW!!!

Why is America losing it's heart for this noble war? President Bush promised us that this was going to be a long hard battle, and we agreed with him then. So how dare we abandon him and our troops when it goes longer than we had hoped. And do you really believe the lie that somehow we are just sitting around Iraq waiting to get blown up and we aren't really doing anything.
I have decided that from now on when a liberal gets all up in my face talking about "Bush's illegal war", I'm going to consider the source of the poor ignorant liberal schlub and move on.

I urge you to keep praying for our troops and for our president.
Please watch this video and let it re-inspire you to support the troops and the mission...War Heroes

I Am Such A Sell-Out

I used to laugh at kids that followed the crowd for every little fad. Now look at me...I have a Xanga, a Myspace, and now a Tagworld. Is that sad or what?
