Try A Little Tenderness

Otis Redding was the man. You don't know how much I would pay to go back in the time and see Otis in concert. This will have to do for now...

New Orleans Americana

I'm off to New Orleans.
If I didn't have to sit through meetings about vacuums then I might be able to enjoy some good old fashion Louisiana music. Like this...

Shine

David Gray in all his head shaking glory singing one of my favorites...

One of these days I'll get some of my own videos up. For now let me force some of my music on you!

Sing It Sam

Makes me want to go to New Orleans in style!

Sam sings Basin Street Blues...

More Videos To Come

I have been lax with the video camera. The truth is there hasn't been anything to film yet. But that will change. Next week I will be in New Orleans and I will bring back some good stuff with me. I might even get some beads...if you know what I mean!! Oh wait, no one wants to see my pale skin...nevermind. I'd probably get beads taken away from me.

Bebo Norman and Emily

I forced Emily to take a picture with Bebo Norman. She hated me for it at the time but I think deep down inside I'm her hero because of it...

Bebo Norman is a brilliant Christian singer/songwriter by the way. Emily is a friend of mine.

Masterpieces

I have certain tastes in movies and music. Sometimes there will be a movie out that everyone seems to love, but I will hate it. Three good examples would be Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, and Pirates Of The Caribbean. I hate all those. Sometimes everyone will hate a movie and I will love it. This is one of those movies...

I love Signs. I love all M. Night Shymalan films, but Signs is my all time favorite. The critics hated it. I remember wanting to watch it again the second after I saw it the first time. I think I like it so much because it has redeeming value. It isn't a horror movie that relies on blood and gore, which as we all know is just stupid movie making.
Signs leaves you thinking about how events in our lives point to purpose and cause. And the performances are great as well as the storyline and dialogue. And when it comes down to it I think it's just good movie making.

They Won't All Be Cat Videos

Cry Babies!

The Cat That Could Kill A Man

This is Bea, My parents cat. She looks nice and cute like most cats...but also like most cats something lurks inside her that wants to claw out human eyes.

I Still Believe In The Iraq War

I know it's been quite a while since I've gotten on here and spoke my mind about politics. But rest assured I have not gone soft. I STILL believe in what this president is doing. I don't care if his ratings drop down to 10%, as long as he stays with what I believe is the right philosophy on how things should be run then I am going to support him.
Why are we losing our will when it comes to Iraq? I say we stay there and taunt the terrorists until they move into Iraq and then we stay and fight until every last Islamo fascist is dead. People have forgotten that these menaces to society are not going to back down until us infidels are wiped off the map...it doesn't matter even if we all converted to Islam. They believe that only the Arab can truly be a follower of Mohammed. It's just so stupid for us to act like Iraq wasn't a part of the world war at large. Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and most other middle eastern country will all have to be dealt with sooner or later. Bush is hated because all conservatives are hated, no matter what they do.
So I say we conservatives be ourselves and toss the opinion polls out with the trash. Only libs base their beliefs on NYT opinion polls. We have our morals before and after the opinion polls come out. That's what makes us strong as a party!

Ahhhhh! That felt good to get that out. I've forgotten how good it feels to go off on some politics.
